| The Green Man is an ancient, mythical, and intriguing motif, and is probably the most popular in medieval architecture. This course will introduce the tools and techniques of stone carving, and guide you through the process of producing your own ‘Green Man’ sculpture in relief. The stone we will use is a soft limestone (approx 12” x 12” x 4”) which is ideal for beginners. |
