Shute Farm Studio’s Aims:
We are committed to our philosophy of “Art For Everyone” and aim to enable people from all walks of life to discover, experience and enjoy the arts.

• To create an atmosphere which encourages and supports individual learning and creative practice.
• To develop new opportunities and partnerships so that we may engage with those people who wouldn’t ordinarily experience these artforms.
• To support beginners, improvers and specialists alike so that they may develop their practice and share their skills with others.
• To create an inspirational Annual Programme of art courses.
• To provide a venue for other organisations who would like to use the facilities and resources that Shute Farm Studio is able to provide.
• To expand our activities and influence by working in the community and establishing a wider presence.
• To develop specialist activities which meet the needs of target groups (Special Support Centres and agencies, Community Groups, Schools etc).
• To encourage the link between ‘Art and Agriculture’ including visits to Green Farm.
• To take part in or initiate at least one event during each year, alternating with Somerset Art Week, for example an Artist in Residence, Exhibitions, Open Study Days (by invitation).
• To seek funding and sponsorship for the future development of Shute Farm Studio.
• To re-invest any profits into the expansion, purchase of special tools and equipment
  to accommodate all possible disabilities.
