Vitalise - Wire Course

	Vitalise / Wire Work Course. And The Guide Dogs Came too ....
	Vitalise is a national organisation that provides holidays for those effected by a disability and the visually impaired. It also offers volunteers an opportunity to share these holidays as carers.
	Vitalises’ second visit to Shute Farm Studio was to take part in a weekend Wire Sculpture course led by Artist Celia Smith. The course offered the chance to create a pin figure, a flat drawing using fine wire and finally a three dimensional work creating a unique wire sculpture for the garden or home. By the end of the two day course Celia was delighted with the achievements of the whole class.
	The Group Leader Laurence Mannion and Tutor Assistants Audrey Hannam, Sue Edmunds and Fran Britten where overwhelmed by the determination and dexterity of the participants. Vitalise are to visit again in July when they will be undertaking a course in ‘Hand Built Ceramics for a second time!
