| Shute Farm Studio Open Day |

Over 16 tutors came to demonstrate, many offering ‘hands-on’ opportunities so that visitors could get a real feel for the materials and techniques being shown. Three Stone Carving tutors and a number of their students chipped away and encouraged both young and older to have a go! Willow Sculpture, Letter Cutting, Wood Carving, Ceramics, Life Drawing, Life Modelling, Silver Smithing and Bronze Casting were also available to explore. |
| Additionally, there were activities specifically for children to try, including making dream catchers, masks and ceramic bowls. |
| Many visitors took advantage of the chance to see the cows at Green Farm being milked and to see and hear about the process through which the potatoes are grown, stored and distributed. |
| Everyone was treated to some fantastic live acoustic music from Frantic Folk, Phoenix and Jane Harwood. |
| In all, a thoroughly relaxing and creatively inspiring day. |
