Vitalise arranges holidays and activities for the visually impaired and blind and their guides from all over the country. They have been to Shute Farm Studio on many occasions to pursue different forms of Art.
Over 16 tutors came to demonstrate, many offering ‘hands-on’ opportunities so that visitors could get a real feel for the materials and techniques being shown.

Even the rain did not keep anyone away!
Stone Carving, Letter Cutting and Hand Built Ceramics were demonstrated during the course of the 4 days by tutors who teach at the Studio. Proficient students offered ‘hands on stone carving’ to any visitors willing to try – nearly 300!
